HOW A COMMISSION WORKS

Your wishes are at the heart of my workshop, where we will get to know each other and discuss our joint work process. The life of the deceased lays the foundation for developing a personal gravestone.

Based on the impressions and ideas from our conversation, I will begin to implement your ideas and create sketches and sometimes small scale models for your stone. Then we discuss any changes to the sketches or model and you agree to the final design.

At that stage, I will make you a fixed offer. I will ask you for a 50% deposit payment of the total costs. I will then order the raw stone once I receive your deposit.

Once the stone is delivered, I will invite you to the workshop to see your stone and clarify any open questions. You are always welcome to make an appointment with me to visit my workshop during the creation of your stone. I will update you on the process by sharing photos via email.

My work concludes with the creation of a professional foundation and the subsequent installation of the stone, which you are welcome to attend.
